This is a category of 39 items, and the quota is given priority to Hiep
Hung due to their attendance at overseas trade fairs such as the recent
successful showing at the Messe Frankfurt. Therefore, the company is
confident that future growth here will not be restricted by quota, should
the company get other European buyers. This work is very intricate and
skillful, being “cut work” and “pulled and drawn thread work.”
This type of work is unsuitable for mass produced machinery. The company
supplies sets of table linen comprising a tablecloth and anything from 4
to 12 napkins, in a set.
Machine
embroidered bed linen
This is a category of 20 items. The product comprises embroidered quilt
covers, which are made up at Hiep Hung, but filled at their destination in
Japan. They are accompanied by pillowcases. This product is very labour
intensive.
